Hello Sonal, What is the nature of your acne? Red & inflamed or dry and small with pigmentation? Are they painful too? This are safe recommendations from my side- Apply Herbal Lepa: Make a paste using Nimbadi Churna, Triphala Churna, and Dhaniya (Coriander) powder with water or rose water. Apply it to the affected areas and leave it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing off. It helps reduce inflammation and detoxify the skin. Take Internal Herbs: Use Guduchi (Giloy) Ghanvati (1 tablet twice a day) and Nimbaamrutadi Kashayam for blood purification and to reduce Pitta. Diet Modifications: Avoid spicy, oily, and processed foods. Hydration: Drink boiled water infused with coriander seeds to detoxify the body. Lifestyle: Practice Sheetali and Anulom Vilom pranayama to balance Pitta and reduce stress, which may worsen skin issues.

Hello Sonal, Acne, especially when persistent and occurring in multiple areas like the scalp, neck, and back, can often be linked to imbalances in Pitta and Kapha doshas, which affect the skin and its ability to detoxify properly. Given your thyroid condition and endometriosis, hormonal imbalances may also contribute to the recurring breakouts. Could you share more about your diet, stress levels, and any other symptoms like fatigue, irregular periods, or changes in skin texture? Additionally, do you experience digestive issues or food sensitivities? In Ayurveda, we focus on treating acne from the inside out by improving digestion and detoxification. Herbs like Turmeric, Neem, Manjistha, and Aloe Vera can help detoxify the skin and balance hormones. A gentle, cooling routine with oils like Tea Tree or Lavender may also help alleviate itching and inflammation. A personalized Ayurvedic approach, including diet modification, stress management, and herbs tailored to your constitution, would be the best way forward. Would you be open to exploring these natural treatments along with monitoring your thyroid health?
