I on this long, frustrating journey with weight loss, and I've heard some stuff about this herbal remedy called triphala guggulu. My friend, who is really into Ayurvedic stuff, swears by it, and I thought it was about time I ask some folks who might know better. A little background on me: I’m in my mid-30s, dealing with some extra pounds that just won’t seem to go away no matter how hard I try. I’ve tried all sorts of diets and exercises – you name it! And honestly, it’s been such a mental rollercoaster. 😩 I’m feeling really defeated. Recently, I did some googling (yeah, I know, classic), and came across triphala guggulu. Apparently, it’s a blend of three fruits and some guggulu resin? I've read that it can help with fat loss but also support digestion and detoxification? These are totally areas I need help with! I tend to feel bloated sometimes, and not just because of the junk I eat after work – it’s like, there are days when I feel heavy and sluggish. I have a friend who went on an Ayurvedic retreat and spoke about how triphala guggulu helped her with her digestion issues, and she ended up losing weight too! But I’m skeptical, you know? I hate to think I’ll add to my list of dietary restrictions! In the past, I’ve tried other remedies, too – you know, the usual stuff like green tea, apple cider vinegar, and whatnot. Some worked, others didn’t. I feel like I’ve seen every article on weight loss that exists, and I'm also doing yoga which helps me feel more balanced, but results are pretty slow. Really need a break here, life is so busy, and I would like to feel healthy and energetic without feeling deprived. So if anyone can share their experiences with triphala guggulu, that would really help! How did you take it? Did it mix well with anything?
