How to create an Ayurvedic meal plan for Kapha-Pitta with high Vata after Panchakarma treatment? - #54858
Dear Dr. Sara, I experienced a Panchakarma treatment. It was very good, and my atherosclerosis in three heart arteries decreased from 70 - 90% to 40 - 50% blockage. Brilliant :-) Now, back home, I want to change my nutrition to Ayurvedic meals so that I do not fall back to 70-90%. My Dosha got assessed to . Prakriti: Kapha - Pitta . Vikriti: Kapha - Pitta with a bit of Vata According to another Ayur doctor, it was assessed that my Vata would be too high, i.e., my Vikriti: Vata I would not bother very much about these differences if the correct and best nutrition for me were not determined by my Doshas. With the help of ChatGPT, I tried to figure out what my best meals would have to be. But it got soooooo confusing that I gave up! So, the help I would need is a clear and correct assessment of my Doshas, and based on that, a perfect Ayurvedic Meal Plan. Kind regards, Johann

Your improvement after Panchakarma is encouraging. For heart blockage and atherosclerosis, the main Ayurvedic goal is to keep Kapha and Ama under control while supporting healthy circulation and digestion. Even if Dosha opinions differ slightly, your diet can still remain simple and safe: Diet: Warm, light, freshly cooked meals Barley, old rice, oats, green gram, cooked vegetables Garlic, turmeric, ginger, cumin, coriander in moderation Small quantity of cow ghee Fruits: pomegranate, apple, berries Avoid fried food, cheese, red meat, excess sugar, bakery food, cold drinks and overeating Daily routine: Warm water in morning 30 minutes walking Early dinner Stress reduction and proper sleep Take Arjuna Churna 3 grams twice daily with warm water after food. Lashunadi Vati 1 tablet twice daily after meals. Triphala Churna 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water.
