But now I’m hearing that eating too much jaggery could lead to weight gain?! Like, does jaggery increase weight or not? I mean, I've been snacking on it with my chai instead of refined sugar, but I also heard it has a lot of calories. Last week, I noticed I feel a bit bloated after having it sometimes, which made me wonder if it’s contributing to my weight issues. I’ve also been trying to lose a few pounds before a wedding coming up, and I really don’t want to mess that up.
