I am super confused about this jaggery thing. Lately, I’ve been trying to eat healthier, and I cut down on sugar. Then I came across people saying jaggery’s way better than sugar, right? But now I’m hearing that eating too much jaggery could lead to weight gain?! Like, does jaggery increase weight or not? I mean, I've been snacking on it with my chai instead of refined sugar, but I also heard it has a lot of calories. Last week, I noticed I feel a bit bloated after having it sometimes, which made me wonder if it’s contributing to my weight issues. I’ve also been trying to lose a few pounds before a wedding coming up, and I really don’t want to mess that up. My friend told me it’s full of nutrients and all, but if it’s gonna make me gain weight, maybe I need to rethink it? I'm a bit torn here—I want to enjoy my snacks but don’t want to sabotage my goals.
