I am really confused about this whole lemon water thing. My friend swears by drinking lemon water in empty stomach every morning and says it helps with digestion and detoxing. But I tried it for the past week and my stomach has been acting really weird! Like, sometimes I feel this intense burning sensation, and I wonder if it’s too acidic or something? I also started feeling a bit nauseous. Ugh! I just don't know if I’m the only one or what. I’ve read mixed things online, like some say it's great for your metabolism, while others mention that lemon can mess with your stomach, especially if it's already sensitive, and mine has been cranky lately, tbh. And does it even really matter if we drink lemon water in empty stomach? Is it safe? Maybe I’m just overthinking this? Sometimes I feel fine after having it and then other times, not so much. I just wanna get a clear answer without all the buzzwords. Like, should I keep trying this lemon water in empty stomach, or should I just ditch it altogether? Pls help!
