Doctors' responses

Your condition indicates that the upper premolar with a 40% fracture and associated pain and sensitivity should be addressed urgently. The pain and sensitivity you are experiencing is likely due to the exposure of the dentin or potentially the pulp. Here is what you can do in the short term, but I strongly advise you to seek professional dental care.

For immediate relief, use clove oil, which has natural analgesic properties. Apply a small amount to the affected area using a cotton swab. This may help in numbing the pain. Rinse your mouth with a warm salt water solution as it helps in reducing bacterial buildup and alleviates discomfort. Mix half teaspoon of salt in a glass of lukewarm water and swish around your mouth gently for about 30 seconds before spitting it out.

In Ayurveda, there are herbs that benefit oral health. Triphala, which is a combination of three fruits, can be mixed in water and used as a mouthwash to promote the healing of tissue and reduce inflammation. Avoid very hot and cold foods as they can increase sensitivity. Stick to soft foods that do not require excessive chewing, and ensure you’re keeping your oral area clean by gently brushing with a soft bristle brush.

Your diet should be supportive of healing. Include grounding and nourishing foods like kichadi, soups, and warm stews which are easy on digestion and help support immune function. Increase your intake of Vitamin C-rich foods like amla, and pomegranate as these promote collagen production, which is essential in tissue repair.

However, the fracture in the tooth requires attention from a dentist to determine if a filling, a crown, or another procedure is needed to prevent further damage or infection. Such fractures can escalate without proper treatment, potentially affecting nearby teeth and your overall oral health. Don’t delay in seeking professional dental care for a thorough examination and treatment plan.

Premolars ka dard aur sensitivity jise aap face kar rahe hai, uska ek sambhavna yeh ho sakta hai ki aapka us region me vata dosha ghathit ho gaya hai. Jab daant tuta ho toh nerve exposure hone ki wajah se bhi sensitivity aur dard hota hai. Pehle toh, main yeh batana chahunga ki aapko turant dentist ka sampark lena chahiye kyunki tuta hua daant mein infection hone ka khatra badh jata hai.

Toradhvata ko shant karne ke liye, ghar pe thande aur garm paani ke gargles din me 2-3 baar karein, jo vata ko shant karega aur ard dravya ko bhi rahat dega. Neem twak (bark) se daanto ki dayutam karinay mein samarth karti hai, isiliye neem daatmanjan ka upyog karein. Lekin, yeh tab tak kaafi nahi hai agar daant tuta hua hai.

Aap mujhe keliye kada bana sakte hain jisme adrak aur saunf (fennel seeds) ka isti लॉन्च karein; isse agni ko prabal karene aur oral health ko majbooti pradan karne mein madad milegi. Gunde (gum) ko majboot karne ke liye til tel (sesame oil) se bhi oil pulling kiya ja sakta hai, magar yeh dentist ki drashti ke baad hi prarambh karna uchit hoga.

Yadi daant mein koi infection ya pus ka sanket mile, toh yeh bohot jaruri hai ki rapid dental intervention ho, kyunki iske bina infection aur prabhavit ho sakta hai, jo aap ki arogya ko kharab kar sakta hai. Intervening by a professional is crucial. Shighra upchar lene me der na karein.
