First, at 27 years old, memory issues + mental fog are usually due to: Poor sleep Stress / anxiety Excess screen time Vitamin deficiencies (B12, D) Thyroid imbalance Gut issues Before starting herbs, I strongly suggest checking: Vitamin B12 Vitamin D TSH CBC Many young patients improve simply by correcting B12. 🌿 About Your Proposed Herbal Combination You mentioned: Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis) Vacha (Acorus calamus) Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) This is actually a classical Medhya Rasayana combination — good thinking 👍 But proportions and safety matter. 🌿 Herb Actions (Short Overview) 🌱 Brahmi Improves memory & learning Reduces anxiety Neuroprotective Safe for long-term use 🌸 Shankhapushpi Improves concentration Calms mind Helpful for stress & insomnia Very safe 🌾 Vacha (Important Caution) Improves clarity & speech Strong stimulant to nervous system Can aggravate Pitta High doses not advised Avoid in hyperacidity, ulcer, high Pitta, pregnancy ⚠️ Vacha contains beta-asarone (concern in high doses). 📌 Important Most side effects in such combinations happen due to: High dose Taking on empty stomach Poor digestion (Mandagni) Giving after food with warm milk reduces problems significantly.
