I have bilater calcaneal spur on both leg pain was severe with inflammation nd swelling .I took medicinend antibiotics. It settled down but because of gait my right knee started paining. I took treatment of Abhyanga basti potli steam nd lepan for 14 days but my knee became painful nd feeling my knee ball movement's not in form.I am talking aryuved medicine as well as I am takinghot sand compress.what to do

Your problem is not just spur or knee alone. It is a chain issue heel spur → altered gait → knee joint strain → Vata aggravation + ligament imbalance. Aggressive therapies (strong steam, potli) can sometimes increase pain when Vata is high. What to do now (important correction) Stop strong fomentation and heavy potli for few days Avoid excessive walking and stairs Use supportive footwear with soft heel cushion Ayurvedic medicines and dose 1. For pain and inflammation Simhanad Guggulu Dose 2 tablets twice daily after food Maharasnadi Kwath Dose 30 ml twice daily before food 2. For joint lubrication and stability Dashmool Kwath Dose 30 ml twice daily Ashwagandha churna Dose 3 grams twice daily with milk 3. For bone and ligament support Lakshadi Guggulu Dose 2 tablets twice daily Local treatment (very important) Use Mahanarayan oil or Ksheerabala oil Gentle massage only (no deep pressure) After 5–7 days, do mild warm fomentation, not very hot Knee support brace can help temporarily For calcaneal spur Continue soft heel pad Stretch calf muscles gently Avoid barefoot walking

Go for agni and vidha karma near a panchakarma center near you for the calcaneal spur. it will completly settle with these two treatments eventually reducing the knee pain as well. Till than you can go for below treatment: ??Do’s:?? Eat freshly cooked food. Chew an inch of fresh ginger half an before meal. Eat only fruit vegetables. Limit dairy products (stop if possible) ?Dont’s:? Sitting directly under a fan or right in front of the A.C Oily, spicy, processed food. Packed food products. Sour and fermented items. Bakery items. Fried food products. Potatoes. ??Medication?? Tab. Ampachak Vati. 2 tabs twice a day before food. Tab. Sinhanad Guggul 2 tabs twice a day before food. Cap.Arnopein 2 caps twice a day before food. Syp. Dashmoolarishta 3 tsp twice a day before food with warm water. Castor Oil. 3 tsp at bed time with a cup of hot water.

Right now, avoid overdoing therapies — too many external treatments can sometimes aggravate joint sensitivity. Give the joint some rest and stability: Avoid long walking, stairs, and sudden movements Use a knee support (brace) while walking Continue mild heat (sand compress is fine, but not too hot) Start gentle strengthening: Slow straight leg raises and mild knee movements (no force) At home: Castor oil हल्का massage at night, followed by mild heat Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Maharasnadi kwath – 15 ml with equal water twice daily Shallaki (Boswellia) – 1 tablet twice daily These help reduce inflammation, improve joint function, and support movement. Important: If “knee ball not in place” feeling continues, consider orthopedic evaluation (X-ray/MRI) to rule out ligament or patella tracking issue.
