Veins becoming more visible on hands and legs often can be due to factors like lowered body fat, increased muscle tone, or a lighter skin tone. Situational circumstances such as temperature changes, exercise, or even anxiety can also make veins appear more prominent. However, because you mention left chest and hand pain especially considering your asthma and anxiety, it’s crucial to approach this carefully.

Chest and left hand pain can sometimes signify serious conditions such as heart problems, which might need immediate medical intervention. If the pain is severe or persistent, seeking urgent medical evaluation is advised to rule out any cardiac issues.

Meanwhile, in terms of Ayurveda, managing your asthma and anxiety may alleviate some symptoms. Due to your asthmatic condition, Kapha and Vata doshic imbalance might play a role. Enhancing digestion and calming the mind could be beneficial. Incorporate turmeric and ginger in your diet as they can aid in balancing Kapha and reducing inflammation. Consider drinking warm water with half a teaspoon of ginger powder and turmeric in the morning on an empty stomach to help with digestive fire (Agni) and respiratory support.

Try including regular breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari pranayama for 10-15 minutes daily — these can reduce anxiety and improve lung capacity. Practicing mindfulness or incorporating yoga like Shavasana can also calm Vata dosha and minimize anxiety. Avoid cold, heavy foods, and emphasize warm, easily digestible meals.

However, remember these are supportive measures and not replacements for necessary medical consultation. Continuous or unusual symptoms, particularly chest pain, should always prompt immediate professional assessment. Stay safe and prioritize visiting a healthcare provider to address the origin of your pains…

The prominence of veins in your hands and legs can often be due to several reasons like low body fat, dehydration, or happens with age-related skin changes. However, since you’re experiencing left hand and chest pain, it’s crucial to consider these symptoms more seriously because they could suggest a cardiovascular issue that needs immediate medical attention. Especially with your background of asthma and anxiety, any pain around the chest and left arm should not be taken lightly.

In Ayurveda, left side body pains may be associated with an imbalance in Vata dosha, where excess air and space can cause dryness and tension. But again, with chest and arm involvement, modern medical attention should ideally be sought first to rule out any critical conditions.

In terms of calming your symptoms at home, you can try applying warm sesame oil to your hands and legs and gently massaging in circular motion, which can help balance Vata and potentially relieve some of that discomfort. Additionally, consuming warm herbal teas like ginger and tulsi (holy basil) may help with the anxiety component. Remember though, this should not substitute timely medical evaluation.

Also practice slow deep breathing exercises to help with anxiety and improve overall lung function. But given current symptoms, ensure these practices supplement anything critical being addressed by healthcare provider. Please consider seeing a medical professional promptly to ensure your symptoms don’t point to something that needs urgent care.
