Doctors' responses
When herbs are infused into ghee their qualities move into the fat because ghee naturally absorbs and carries herbal properties When you later wash the ghee with water you are mainly removing water soluble residues and impurities The fat soluble essence of the herbs stays within the ghee
So you are not washing away the deeper nourishing action of the herbs You are refining the ghee and making it lighter softer and more suitable for skin application This is why the cream feels so soothing balanced and effective
Washed ghee prepared after herbal infusion often becomes more skin friendly calming and deeply moisturizing It supports the skin barrier and carries gentle herbal nourishment without heaviness or irritation
Your observation of the result is correct The body and the skin always reveal the truth of a preparation
