-Your tests are all normal, which is reassuring. The breathing issues and sensations you’re experiencing are likely related to stress, anxiety, and changes in your nervous system, possibly triggered when you quit smoking. Your long-term spiritual practice may also make you more aware of these internal sensations. This is not dangerous, and we can manage it with techniques to reduce stress, support your energy, and help you feel more grounded. - firsy share parameters of all tests u have done -1. Dinacharya / Lifestyle: Avoid cold, dry, and irregular routine. Warm oil massage (Abhyanga) with Sesame or Ashwagandha oil, 10–15 min daily. Gentle, grounding yoga and pranayama: Anulom Vilom, Bhramari for calming Vata. Adequate sleep; avoid overthinking or excessive meditative intensity. 2. Pathya-Apathya : Warm, nourishing foods: khichdi, soups, ghee, cooked vegetables. Avoid cold drinks, raw salads in excess, caffeine, and overstimulation. Include Shatavari 1tsf with warm milk and ghee at night for energy and calming effect. 3. Ayurvedic Medicines- Ashwagandha Churna – 3 g with warm milk, at night Chyawanprash – 1 tsp in morning Sitopaladi Churna – ½ tsp with warm water, 2–3 times/day if breathlessness occurs (mild) 4. Meditation / Energy Work: Focus on grounding meditation, body-scan awareness, avoid forcing energy sensation in chakras. Gentle pranayama, 5–10 min twice daily. Follow-up: 2–3 weeks to assess energy, breathlessness, and mental balance.

Due to your smoking habit, your lungs may have become addicted and you feel a sense of weakness. To cure this, you will have to strengthen your lungs, for which you should make a formulation of Shilpaladi powder 50 grams + Talishadi powder 50 grams + abhrak bhasm 10 grams + Yuvak akshar 10gram+ Tankan bhasm5gram + honey, mix all of them thoroughly and take 2 grams in the morning and evening and also take a bamboo shoot.

Hello Thanks for sharing your health history; it really helps me understand what’s going on.I can understand your concern but dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 YOUR CONCERN Okay, so you’re 66, and you’ve been through a few things: –Smoking – Anxiety and feeling down – Cancer in the past – You’ve been into spiritual stuff for a while – You’re mostly a Vata type Now that you’ve quit smoking, your body’s having a big reaction in terms of energy and nerves. In Ayurveda, that’s like saying: Prana Vata + Udana Vata + Manovaha Srotas are out of whack. When you smoked, it was like holding back Udana Vata (that’s about breathing, talking, and upward energy). Now that you’ve stopped, that Vata’s kind of exploded, causing: • Feeling like you can’t get enough air • Burning in your chest • Jitters inside • Feeling like you’re falling apart • Being scared • Low energy • Burning around your heart and throat Plus, all your tests came back normal, which pretty much says this is a Vata-Prana thing, not something wrong with your organs. Why the Heat in Your Chest? Smoking, holding back feelings, and past trauma have trapped some Pitta-Vata in your heart area and solar plexus. That’s causing: • Intense burning • Tightness • Feeling like you can’t breathe • Almost panic attacks • Blood pressure going up when these happen We call this: Hridaya-gata Vata (Pitta-related) What’s Going On (Ayurveda Style) • Prana Vata all over the place • Udana Vata not strong enough • Manovaha Srotas messed up • Ojas (vital energy) running low • Like you’re withdrawing from something toxic • Trauma is releasing stored energy This happens a lot to sensitive, spiritual Vata people after they quit smoking. How to Fix It 1. SHODHANA (Gentle Cleanse) Not a crazy detox—just a little tune-up • Triphala ½ tsp with warm water before sleep • Warm ghee 1 tsp at night • Castor oil ½ tsp twice a week (if you’re constipated) 2 INTERNAL MEDICATION (Main Healing Stuff) These are great for what’s going on with you: 1.Ashwagandha capsule 1 capsule twice a day after food - Grounds the nervous system 2 Brahmi vati 1 tablet after food twice daily - Makes Prana stable 3.Jatamansi churna ½ tsp with warm milk at bed time - Helps deal with trauma These all calm Vata, Pitta, and your mind. Breathing Exercises Every day: • Nadi Shodhana – 10 minutes • Bhramari – 7 times • Slow belly breaths Don’t do Kapalbhati or fast breathing. DIET PLAN Eat: • Warm soups • Ghee • Rice • Milk • Dates • Almonds • Stewed apples • Moong dal Don’t Eat: • Coffee • Alcohol • Raw food • Cold food • Fasting • Dry crackers Lifestyle tips You’re not really sick—your body’s just getting used to life without nicotine and dealing with past stuff. Daily: • Warm oil massage • Walk barefoot outside • Easy yoga • Rest a lot • Don’t get too stressed Why You Feel Like You’re Falling Apart It’s not a disease—your Prana is just rearranging itself after you quit and release trauma. Your spiritual side makes you sensitive, so you’re feeling this more. What’s happening is: Fixable, not a big deal, and it’s just your Vata messing with your nerves. It’s not cancer, lung trouble, or heart issues. Hope you feel safe and supported Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

1. Medicines Brahmi Vati (plain) – 1 tablet night Shankhpushpi Syrup – 10 ml night Praval Pishti – 250 mg twice daily with cold water Shatavari Kalpa – 5 gm night with room-temp water/milk 2. Daily Practices (most powerful for her) Sheetali / Sitkari pranayama – 5–10 rounds morning & evening (direct cooling of 3rd–4th chakra area, reduces heat & breathing anxiety) Warm sesame oil abhyanga – light full-body massage 10 min daily (grounds Vata, removes disintegration feeling) Legs elevated 20 min twice daily + Vajrasana after meals (improves venous return & reduces breathing discomfort) No forceful pranayama or hot yoga ,only gentle & cooling 3. Diet & Lifestyle Strictly avoid: spicy, sour, fermented, caffeine, late dinner, dry/crisp food Eat: warm moong khichdi + ghee, pomegranate, coconut water, cooked lauki, thin buttermilk + roasted jeera Sleep 10 PM – 6 AM strictly (Vata rises with late nights) Talk therapy / journaling – very important (unresolved grief/anxiety from past cancer + spiritual pressure) ✓If breathing suddenly worsens, chest pain or severe anxiety move ER immediately. Aapne jo symptoms describe kiye — ek saal se on-and-off breathing issue, sabhi physical tests normal, anxiety/depression ka history, cancer ka past history, borderline BP, aur “deep heat sensation” in the chest/solar plexus area (3rd–4th chakra region) — ye ek functional aur psychosomatic pattern lagta hai, jisme physical organs structurally normal hain, lekin mind–body imbalance ke wajah se subjective discomfort ho raha hai. Impression (Ayurvedic & Integrative View) - Vata–Prana imbalance: Aapne khud bataya ki aapka prakriti Vata tha. Vata jab disturbed hota hai to shwas (breath), manas (mind), aur hridaya (heart region) mein chanchalta aur ghabrahat create karta hai. - Anxiety–Depression link: Emotional stress aur long spiritual work ke dauran “disintegration” ya “heat in chakra” jaise sensations common hote hain. Ye psychosomatic prana flow disturbance ko indicate karte hain. - Agni & Ojas depletion: Low energy aur fatigue suggest karte hain ki ojas (vital essence) kam ho gaya hai, jo immunity aur stability ko weak karta hai. - Borderline BP episodes: Stress ke dauran BP thoda fluctuate karna normal hai, aur ye breathing discomfort ko trigger kar sakta hai. Supportive Suggestions (Ayurveda + Lifestyle)----- **Pranayama: - Anulom–Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) — vata ko balance karta hai. - Bhramari (humming bee breath) — anxiety aur chest heaviness kam karta hai. - Herbal Rasayana (gentle): - Ashwagandha (for calming vata, reducing anxiety, improving energy). - Guduchi (immune and ojas support). - Brahmi or Shankhpushpi (for mind–body integration). **Diet: - Warm, light, freshly cooked food. - Avoid excess stimulants (coffee, smoking, alcohol). - Include milk with nutmeg or turmeric at night for calming effect. **Spiritual practice: - Grounding meditation (focus on breath and lower chakras). - Gentle yoga like Vajrasana and Shavasana. **Daily routine: - Regular sleep, sunlight exposure, and mild walking. WARM REGARDS DR. ANJALI SEHRAWAT
