Since you: Eat mostly cooked meals (good 👍) No major health issues Sedentary routine I’ll guide you step-by-step — practical and realistic. 🌿 What Is a Sattvic / Ayurvedic Lifestyle? It means: ✔ Eating fresh, seasonal, simple food ✔ Living in rhythm with nature ✔ Keeping mind calm ✔ Avoiding excess stimulation ✔ Protecting digestive fire (Agni) 🌅 Morning Changes (Start Here) These 5 habits alone can transform your health: 1️⃣ Wake up before 6:30 am 2️⃣ Drink warm water (not cold) 3️⃣ Scrape tongue (removes ama) 4️⃣ 5–10 minutes sunlight exposure 5️⃣ 15 minutes walking or stretching Small but powerful. 🍽 How To Eat (Very Important) Ayurveda focuses more on how you eat than what you eat. ✔ Eat only when hungry ✔ Eat in calm mind (no mobile) ✔ Eat warm, freshly cooked food ✔ Avoid reheated leftovers ✔ Sit on floor if possible ✔ Stop at 75% full ✔ Don’t drink too much water during meals Water rule: Small sips during food Proper water 30–45 min after meal ❌ Foods Ayurveda Considers Harmful (If Regularly Consumed) These disturb doshas & digestion: Very cold drinks Refrigerated food Excess cheese & paneer Curd at night Fermented junk foods Deep fried food Refined sugar Bakery items Packaged snacks Excess tea/coffee Microwaved food Also avoid: Milk + salty foods together Milk + fish combination 🌿 Sattvic Foods (Best For Human Body) ✔ Moong dal ✔ Ghee (small amount daily) ✔ Fresh fruits (morning only) ✔ Cow milk (if digestible) ✔ Seasonal vegetables ✔ Lauki, tinda, pumpkin ✔ Soaked almonds ✔ Cumin, coriander, fennel ✔ Rock salt instead of table salt 🧘 For Sedentary Lifestyle Since you are mostly sedentary: Very important: 30 min daily walking Surya namaskar (even 4 rounds) Avoid daytime sleeping Sleep before 11 pm 🧠 Mind is Also Part of Sattvic Living Reduce: Excess social media Late night scrolling Overthinking Anger Add: Gratitude practice Prayer or meditation Reading good books Positive company 🔥 Protect Your Agni (Most Important) Weak digestion = disease. Signs of good Agni: ✔ Clear tongue ✔ No bloating ✔ Good hunger ✔ Light feeling after food ✔ Clear bowel daily If bloating/constipation → Agni weak. 🌿 How To Know Your Dosha? Basic idea: Vata dominant Thin body Dry skin Cold hands/feet Irregular appetite Anxious nature Pitta dominant Medium build Warm body Strong hunger Sweats easily Irritable Kapha dominant Heavier body Slow digestion Calm personality Gains weight easily Oily skin Most people are dual type (like Vata-Pitta). Answer me: Do you feel cold easily or heat easily? Is your appetite strong or irregular? Is your body lean, medium or heavier? Is your skin dry or oily? I’ll roughly assess your dosha 💛
