HELLO, IS BESAN CHILLA SAFE IN HEPATITS B AND FATTY LIVER? YES- In moderation, besan is generally safe WHY? -Besan is made from chana dal -It is high is protein, low glycemic, and non oily by nature -For fatty liver, weight control and insulin balance are important- besan actually helps ABOUT THE “WARM NATURE” MYTH In Ayurveda, -besan is considered warming -But “warm” does NOT mean harmful for liver automatically -It becomes problematic only if –you already have high pitta symptoms (burning, acidity, yellowish eyes, irritability, mouth ulcers) -It is eaten fried, spicy, or with too much oil If your only symptom is mild fatigue, and no strong pitta signs, plain besan chilli with minimal oil is fine HOW TO EAT BESAN CHILLA SAFELY? -use little ghee or cold pressed oil -add grated bottle gourd or spinach -avoid too much green chilli -avoid eating it at night -don’t combine with curd at night Best time= breakfast or early lunch DIET FOR HEPATITIS B + FATTY LIVER GOAL -reduce liver load -improve digestion -reduce fatty accumulation -calm pitta VEGETABLES TO INCLUDE -bottle gourd -ridge gourd -tinda -pumpkin -bitter gourd -carrot -beetroot -spinach well cooked, not daily -methi leaves Cooked, warm, lightly spiced food is better than raw salads FRUITS TO INCLUDE -pomegranate excellent for liver -papaya -apple -pear -sweet lime mosambi -small quantity of black grapes Avoid very sour fruits AVOID/LIMIT -deep fried food -panner in excess -cheese -refined flour -bakery items -packaged juice -excess banana -very sour curd -pickles -red chilli -heavy rajma/chole frequently -alcohol strict no PROTEIN SOURCE VERY IMPORTANT FOR FATTY LIVER Many vegetarians go low protein and that worsens fatty liver INCLUDE -moong dal best -massor dal -besan -tofu better than panner -sprouts lightly steamed -buttermilk daytime only, diluted IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION Hepatits B itself does not require extreme food restriction unless liver enzymes are very high FATTY LIVER IMPROVES MAINLY WITH -weight control -sugar control -regular walking 30-40 mins daily -no alcohol -no overeating YES, besan chilla is safe Warm nature fear. is exaggerated Focus on light, simple, cooked vegetarian food Avoid heavy, fried, spicy, processed food DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
