In Ayurveda, treating anxiety involves balancing the mind and body while focusing on underlying dosha imbalances, especially Vata. For your symptoms like palpitations, chest heaviness, itching, and headaches, it sounds like Vata imbalance is particularly pronounced. Here’s a plan you might consider:

Firstly, Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a well-known adaptogen in Ayurveda, may help support the nervous system and reduce anxiety. Try taking a 500 mg capsule of Ashwagandha twice daily with warm water. It is generally soothing and might not effect your throat adversely.

For your chest heaviness and palpitations, Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) could be beneficial. A natural cardiac tonic, Arjuna can be taken as a powder (about 1 teaspoon) mixed in warm water once or twice a day. It helps in reinforcing heart muscles and promoting proper circulation.

Body itching signifies toxin accumulation, amavisha and using a detoxifying herb like Neem could help. Drinking Neem tea or taking 500 mg capsules once daily might help to alleviate itching.

To address headaches, consider Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri). A 300 mg capsule of Brahmi twice daily can help improve mental clarity, reduce stress and calm your mind.

Diet-wise, try consuming warm, nourishing foods that pacify Vata. Drink herbal teas like chamomile or tulsi more frequently, and maintain regular meal times to stabilize your routine. Avoid cold, dry food, and incorporate ghee into your diet.

It’s important to incorporate daily practices like Abhyanga, a self-massage with warm sesame oil, to keep Vata balanced.

Ensure you consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner or doctor to personalize this regimen further, especially based on any specifics they can observe. Regular follow-ups can help adjust your treatment plan as needed.
