Now, for the hypo-thyroid situation, a key thing to check is supporting your body's metabolism. Consider warm foods and spices like ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon to help boost agni (your digestive fire). Taking Ashwagandha with a glass of warm milk or water every morning might be helpful too. It assists not only with thyroid balance but also with joint pain. Make sure you're getting enough fiber, maybe try triphala at night to keep your digestion moving smoothly.
That full body itching could be a sign of toxins or ama in your system due to imbalance. Dry brushing before a shower could help, it stimulates blood circulation and removes dead skin. Followed by abhyanga (a self-massage) with warm sesame oil can also soothe skin and joints. It's quite relaxing!
Stay hydrated, but avoid cold drinks — go for room temp water or lukewarm. Lemon water with a pinch of rock salt in the mornings can be great too.
