I am really confused about whether we can eat curd during weight loss. Last month, I started a weight loss journey and honestly, it's been tough – cutting down on carbs and all that. I’ve always loved curd, like had it almost everyday with my meals, but then I heard somewhere that it might not be good if you’re trying to shed pounds. I’ve noticed that whenever I eat curd, I feel fuller but also maybe a bit bloated? My friends are all like, "No, you should totally avoid dairy," but I feel like curd has its own benefits, you know? I mean, it’s got probiotics which are great for gut health or something like that. I did some quick reading but still wondering, can we eat curd during weight loss or should I just skip it altogether? I don’t wanna ruin my efforts, but I can’t imagine my meals without it! What do you guys recommend?

2. Try to pair it with warming spices like cumin or black pepper, which can ease digestion and mitigate its tendency to increase Kapha. You might sprinkle a pinch of these spices over the curd before eating.

3. Moderation is always key. Limiting consumption to a small portion, rather than with every meal, can help reap its benefits without backlash.

Listen to your body. If curd continually causes discomfort, you may need to adjust the amount or frequency. Instead of taking a single approach from popular diets, align your dietary choices with how your body reacts—you might experiment with reducing the quantity gradually to see how it affects your digestion.

Remember, your weight loss journey should be about sustainable, healthy practices that suit your body’s needs. If you find yourself feeling worse after having curd every time, it might be worthwhile to take a break and observe any changes.
