How does taking 15 gram shilajit daily affect energy levels and overall health? - #22022

Andrew

I am really curious about this 15 gram shilajit I read about online. I mean, I've been feeling super low energy lately, like, even my morning coffee isn’t cutting it anymore! So, I thought, maybe I should try this 15 gram shilajit thing. The thing is, I've heard a lot of mixed things about it. Some people say that just 15 gram shilajit can make you feel like a superhero, and others are more skeptical, saying it’s not all it's cracked up to be. Just the other day, I was telling my friend about feeling sluggish, and she suggested I look into 15 gram shilajit, but I want to know, is it safe? Like, is there any risk I should be aware of? I’ve also read that it can detox your body, boost stamina, and help with focus. Honestly, I need help with my focus too, because I've been struggling to stay on task at work. So, here’s where I'm at — if I decide to go for this 15 gram shilajit, how should I take it? Should I be mixing it with something or is water fine? And should I expect to feel effects pretty quick or does it take time? I’m the kind of person that, once I try something, I want to see results like ASAP! And should I be careful with my diet while using 15 gram shilajit? I don’t want to waste my time, you know? I really hope some of you guys can share your thoughts or experiences with 15 gram shilajit. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thx!

Shilajit is a powerful Ayurvedic supplement revered for its potential to improve energy levels, enhance stamina, and support concentration. However, the daily dosage of 15 grams you're considering is significantly higher than what's typically recommended in Ayurvedic practice. Traditionally, shilajit is consumed in much smaller quantities. A standard dose ranges between 300 to 500 milligrams per day. Exceeding this can lead to potential side effects such as increased uric acid, digestive issues, or even toxic metal residues present in insufficiently purified shilajit. Shilajit should be gradually introduced into your regimen. Start with a small dose, up to 500 mg a day, and monitor how your body responds. It can be taken in the morning, mixed with warm water or milk, to enhance its absorption and efficacy. This timing also aligns with enhancing your agni, or digestive fire, through the day. Mixing it with milk is often recommended in Ayurveda to balance its warming and potentially drying qualities. In terms of diet, maintaining a balanced diet that supports your dosha type is crucial. If you're looking for sustained energy and focus, include ghee, nuts, seeds, and fresh vegetables that support your body's constitution. Ensure you are also well hydrated and resting sufficiently, as lifestyle and dietary factors are central to Ayurvedic treatment. While you may not experience immediate results, many find a noticeable difference within a few days to weeks of consistent use, when adhered to recommended dosages. For boosting focus specifically, also consider Brahmi or Ashwagandha, herbs known for cognitive support. If you pursue shilajit, ensure it's from a reputable source, as purity is essential for safety and efficacy. As always, consulting with an Ayurvedic physician is advisable to tailor recommendations to your specific needs and ensure safety.
