how to use shilajit oil - #25917

Allison

I am kind of lost with this whole shilajit oil thing. A few months ago, I read an article about its benefits, and it got me really interested! I started taking it because I’ve been feeling super drained lately, like no energy at all. My energy levels are just at an all-time low. I tried a few other supplements, but nothing's really clicked. I bought some shilajit oil from a health store after hearing it can improve stamina, but honestly, I have no clue how to use shilajit oil. Should I take it with food, or is it better on an empty stomach? I read somewhere about mixing it in warm water, but that sounds kinda weird. Also, I’m not sure if using it internally is the same as applying it topically. Does shilajit oil help with skin, too? I did try putting some on some dry patches, but I’m unsure of the overall effect! Can you guys give me some insight on how to use shilajit oil properly? Thanks!

Shilajit oil, which is derived from a mineral-rich substance found in the Himalayas, is used in Ayurveda for its rejuvenating properties, particularly for boosting energy and vigor. It’s not uncommon to feel a bit lost trying to incorporate it into your routine—it can be used in various ways depending on your needs. For internal use, shilajit oil can indeed be taken either on an empty stomach or with food. If you're new to it though, starting with a small amount is advisable to assess your tolerance just to be on the safe side. Try mixing a very small quantity, say a grain-sized amount, with warm milk or water. Warm water might sound strange, but it helps with better absorption and aids in digestion. Consuming it in the morning is ideal because shilajit can enhance your energy levels throughout the day. Regarding topical use, shilajit oil can be beneficial for the skin, especially for dry patches, thanks to its mineral content. You can gently massage a few drops onto affected areas. Do this regularly to observe any improvements. Shilajit oil might not work like a conventional moisturizer, but its properties can help in nourishing the skin over time. Noe, remember to source shilajit oil from reliable vendors to ensure its purity and quality. It's crucial, since substandard products might not deliver the benefits you're expecting. If you notice any adverse reactions, imediately discontinue use. Keep in mind that while shilajit is potent, maintaining a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and adequate rest are essential components for boosting overall energy and vitality. If your fatigue persists, it might be wise to consult a healthcare professional to rule out underlying issues.
