I am having a really tough time findin the right place to buy original kashmiri saffron. A few weeks ago, I came across this lovely recipe for biryani that called for saffron, and everyone said that kashmiri saffron was the best. But ever since then, I’ve been searching online and in stores, and honestly, I keep getting confused! There are so many brands and some of them say they are “original” but the prices are super low, like is that even possible? Last Saturday, I went to a local spice shop, and the guy there was trying to sell me some saffron that he claimed was Kashmiri, but it just felt kinda off. I mean, the color didn’t seem right and when I asked about the sourcing, he was all vague about it. Ughhh! This has just got me worried about getting scammed. If anyone could point me in the right direction of where to buy original kashmiri saffron, I would be super grateful. Are there specific websites or stores you know? Or tips to spot the real deal? I wanna make sure I’m not just throwing my money away on some fake stuff. Thanks!
