Doctors' responses

HELLO, For an Ayurvedic style kokum instant drink powder with dried kokum, amla, and stevia , the ratio should balance -sourness (kokum + amla) -sweetness (stevia) -digestive / cooling effect Both kokum and Amla are naturally sour, so stevia must be used carefully stevia is extremely sweet even in tiny amounts RECOMMENDED RATION BASE RATIO FOR POWDER MIX -Kokum powder= 6 parts -Amla powder= 3 parts -Stevia powder= 0.5-1 part EXAMPLE -60 gm kokum powder -30 gm amla powder -5-10 gm stevia powder HOW TO PREPARE -Dry grind dried kokum into a fine powder -Mix with amla powder thoroughly -Add stevia powder gradually and taste test -store in an airtight glass jar HOW TO USE For one glass drink -1 tsp mixture -200-250 ml cold water -optional= pinch black salt + roasted cumin powder (improves digestion) BENEFITS -Kokum= cooling, good for acidity and digestion -Amla= rich in Vitamin C, supports immunity and skin -Stevia= natural sweetners without sugar spike IMPORTANT Because stevia is 200-300 x sweeter than sugar, start with very little. Too much can cause a bitter aftertaste MANY AYURVEDIC DRINK MIXES ACTUALLY FOLLOW AN APPROXIMATE 2:1 RATIO OF KOKUM TO AMLA, THEN ADJUST SWEETNESS DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
