Fennel water doesn’t “burn fat” instantly, but it supports the metabolic processes that make weight loss easier: -Suppresses Appetite: Drinking it can help reduce sudden hunger pangs and sugar cravings. -Diuretic Properties: It helps flush out excess toxins and reduces water retention (the “puffy” feeling). -Boosts Metabolism: By improving your Agni (digestive fire), it helps the body process nutrients more efficiently rather than storing them as fat. -Improved Digestion: Better digestion prevents the accumulation of Ama (toxins), which is often a root cause of weight gain in Ayurveda. METHOD- 1.Overnight Soak (Cooling)-Add 1–2 teaspoons of fennel seeds to a glass of water. Let it sit overnight. Strain and drink in the morning. 2.Boiled Tea (Stronger)-Add 1 teaspoon of seeds to 2 cups of water. Boil for 5–7 minutes until the water changes color. Let it cool slightly and drink while warm. When to Drink -First thing in the morning: Drink it on an empty stomach to kickstart your metabolism. -After meals: If you struggle with bloating or heaviness after eating, a small cup of warm fennel water can help settle your stomach. Additional Health Benefits Beyond weight management, fennel seeds offer several other perks: Reduced Bloating & Gas: It acts as an anti-spasmodic, relaxing the gut muscles to release trapped gas. Body Coolant: It is naturally “Sheetal” (cooling), making it great for reducing internal body heat or acidity. Fresh Breath: It has antimicrobial properties that help combat bad breath. Detoxification: It helps cleanse the blood and supports kidney function through its mild diuretic effect.
