eyelashes falling

2 answers

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been noticing something very strange – my eyelashes are falling out more than usual. At first, I thought it was just a few here and there, but now I see them on my pillow, when I wash my face, or even randomly during the day. It’s really starting to worry me because my lashes are thinning out, and I’ve always had thick, long lashes. I don’t use too much makeup, but I do apply mascara maybe twice a week. I make sure to remove it with makeup remover every night. Could that be part of why my eyelashes are falling? I’ve also had a lot of stress lately because of work, and my diet has been a bit off. I’m skipping meals sometimes and not eating much fresh food, so I wonder if that’s contributing too. When I searched online, I read that Ayurveda offers natural remedies for hair loss, and some of those remedies can help with eyelashes falling too. I’ve come across suggestions about using castor oil or almond oil to strengthen lashes, but I’m not sure if that’s safe. Are there specific Ayurvedic oils or herbs that can help stop eyelashes falling and promote regrowth naturally? Another thing I read was that weak digestion or dosha imbalances (like excess Pitta) could lead to eyelashes falling. Is this true? I do feel bloated often, and my skin has been unusually oily lately. Could this be a sign of internal issues causing my lashes to fall? If so, what Ayurvedic treatments can I take to balance my body and stop eyelashes falling out? Also, is it safe to apply oils like castor oil or any Ayurvedic preparations directly to the lash line? I’m worried about irritation because my eyes are quite sensitive. How long does it take for the lashes to grow back once they’ve fallen out? If anyone here has experienced eyelashes falling out and tried Ayurvedic treatments, I’d love to hear what worked for you. Did you focus more on internal remedies, like herbal tonics or detox, or did you use external oils and natural products? How long did it take to see results? I really want to stop my eyelashes falling and make sure they grow back healthy and strong. Any advice about Ayurvedic oils, herbs, or dietary tips would be very helpful.

In Ayurveda, eyelash loss may be linked to a Pitta imbalance, stress, or poor nutrition, which can weaken hair follicles and disrupt growth. Stress and irregular eating habits, as you mentioned, could further aggravate the issue. Strengthening the lashes externally with castor oil or almond oil, infused with cooling herbs like Bhringraj or Amla, can help nourish the follicles. Apply these oils sparingly to the lash line using a clean cotton swab, ensuring they don’t irritate your eyes. Internally, herbs like Brahmi and Shatavari can help manage stress and balance Pitta, while Triphala aids digestion, indirectly supporting hair health. Improving your diet by including iron-rich and protein-rich foods, along with ghee, coconut water, and fresh vegetables, will provide the nutrients needed for lash regrowth. Avoid spicy, fried foods, and excessive heat exposure to balance Pitta. With consistent care, lashes typically regrow in 6-8 weeks. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a holistic approach tailored to your needs.

What Is a Parasite and How Can Ayurveda Help in Treating It?

1 answers

For the past few weeks, I’ve been experiencing some unusual symptoms like bloating, fatigue, and occasional stomach cramps, which led me to believe I might have a parasitic infection. After visiting my doctor, I was tested and found that I have a parasitic infection, but the doctor recommended medication to treat it. While I’m planning to follow their advice, I’m wondering if there are any natural remedies or supportive treatments in Ayurveda that can help eliminate parasites from the body and improve my digestive health. I’ve read that parasites can cause a wide range of symptoms, from digestive issues to fatigue, and I’m looking for natural ways to support my body during the treatment process. Are there any Ayurvedic herbs or dietary changes that can help remove parasites and support the digestive system? I’ve heard that herbs like Neem, Turmeric, and Vidanga are commonly used for detoxifying the body—could these herbs help in cleansing the digestive system of parasites? Additionally, are there any lifestyle changes or cleansing practices in Ayurveda, like Panchakarma, that could support the elimination of parasites and restore gut health? Has anyone here dealt with a parasitic infection and used Ayurvedic treatments to help with recovery? What remedies worked for you in getting rid of parasites and improving your digestive health?

In Ayurveda, parasitic infections are linked to Krimi Roga (worm infestations) and are often caused by weakened digestion (Agni) and toxin buildup (Ama). Neem, Vidanga, and Turmeric are potent antiparasitic herbs that help cleanse the gut and eliminate parasites. Garlic and Ajwain (carom seeds) also have strong antimicrobial properties and can be consumed with warm water. Triphala supports digestion and detoxification, while Pippali and Black Pepper help strengthen Agni, preventing further infestations. A light, easily digestible diet is essential—favor warm, cooked foods like moong dal, rice, pomegranate, buttermilk, and bitter greens, while avoiding sugar, dairy, and processed foods, as they can feed parasites. Drinking warm water with lemon aids in detoxification. Ayurvedic cleansing therapies like Panchakarma (especially Virechana - herbal purgation) can help remove parasites and restore gut balance. Pranayama (Kapalabhati) and yoga (twisting poses) improve digestion and detoxification. Consistency with Ayurvedic herbs, diet, and gut-healing practices can speed up recovery and prevent reinfection. Always consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting new treatments alongside prescribed medication.

How to Use Castor Oil for Constipation in Ayurveda?

1 answers

I’ve been dealing with occasional constipation for a while now, and I recently heard that castor oil is an effective natural remedy. I’ve read that it’s used widely in Ayurveda for digestive issues, but I’m unsure about the correct way to use it. Can someone guide me on how to use castor oil for constipation based on Ayurvedic principles? I know that castor oil is a powerful laxative, but I’ve heard that it’s important to use it in moderation. What is the recommended dosage for constipation, and how often can it be used? Should I take it in the morning or at night, and is it better to consume it with something like warm water or milk? I also want to know if there are any specific Ayurvedic preparations that combine castor oil with other herbs for better results. I’ve heard that adding turmeric or ginger to castor oil might improve its effectiveness. Are there any other herbs I should consider combining it with for smoother digestion and relief from constipation? Another concern I have is whether castor oil for constipation is safe for everyone, especially for children or older adults. Is there any age restriction or dosage adjustment needed when using castor oil for constipation relief? Lastly, can castor oil be used for long-term relief, or is it just a temporary solution to ease constipation? I would love to know if castor oil should be part of a broader Ayurvedic regimen, including dietary changes or other digestive remedies.

Castor oil is indeed a well-known Ayurvedic remedy for constipation due to its natural laxative properties. It is believed to stimulate the intestines and facilitate bowel movements. In Ayurveda, it’s typically used to balance vata dosha, which is often associated with dryness, irregularity, and constipation. The recommended dosage for constipation is about 1 to 2 teaspoons (5-10 ml) of castor oil taken on an empty stomach in the morning or before bed. It’s important to moderate the intake to avoid overstimulating the digestive system. It's often consumed with warm water, milk, or honey to improve taste and enhance its effects. Combining castor oil with other herbs can increase its effectiveness. Ginger and turmeric are commonly paired with castor oil in Ayurveda for their digestive and anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger can help improve digestion and reduce bloating, while turmeric aids in reducing inflammation in the digestive tract. You can add a pinch of turmeric or fresh ginger juice to the castor oil before consumption. Additionally, Triphala (a combination of three fruits) is often used in Ayurvedic medicine to promote regular bowel movements, and it can be taken along with castor oil for a synergistic effect. As for safety, castor oil is generally safe for most adults, but it should be used with caution, especially for children, elderly, or pregnant women, as it can have strong effects. The dosage for children is much lower, usually around 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, and it should only be used under medical supervision. Long-term use of castor oil is not recommended, as it may lead to dependency, and it is best used as an occasional remedy. To address constipation in the long term, it's ideal to incorporate Ayurvedic dietary changes, such as increasing fiber, drinking plenty of warm water, and consuming digestive herbs like ginger, fennel, and cumin. Regular abdominal massage with warm oils like sesame oil can also help keep the digestive system healthy.

Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma

I recently came across a mention of kukkutanda twak bhasma while researching Ayurvedic remedies for improving bone health and strength. I’ve been dealing with weak bones and joint pain, especially in my knees, and my doctor has warned me about the risk of osteoporosis. Before I start taking supplements, I wanted to explore if kukkutanda twak bhasma could be a more natural option. From what I understand, kukkutanda twak bhasma is made from eggshells and is rich in calcium and other minerals. It’s supposed to help with strengthening bones and improving joint mobility. How is kukkutanda twak bhasma typically used? Should it be taken with milk, honey, or something else to maximize absorption? I’ve also heard that kukkutanda twak bhasma can be used for conditions like arthritis and even hair and nail health. If anyone has tried it for these issues, I’d love to hear your experience. Are there any side effects to watch out for, like stomach upset or other reactions? Would it be safe to use kukkutanda twak bhasma along with other Ayurvedic remedies like Ashwagandha or Sahchar oil for joint pain? And how long does it take to see noticeable improvements in bone density or pain relief?

Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma, made from powdered eggshells, is indeed a well-known Ayurvedic remedy for improving bone health, strengthening joints, and providing essential minerals like calcium. It is typically used for conditions like osteoporosis, arthritis, and general bone weakness. The bhasma is often taken in small doses, usually mixed with warm milk or honey to aid absorption and reduce any potential stomach irritation. It can also be combined with other Ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha to enhance its effectiveness, as Ashwagandha supports overall joint health and reduces inflammation. However, it’s important to use Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, as the correct dosage and preparation are crucial for safety and efficacy. Some individuals may experience mild digestive discomfort or stomach upset when taking mineral-based bhasmas, so it’s important to start with a lower dose and monitor how your body responds. As for how long it takes to see results, improvements in bone density or pain relief may vary depending on the severity of the condition and individual body responses. Typically, it may take several weeks to a few months to notice significant changes, but consistent use along with a balanced diet and other supportive Ayurvedic treatments will yield better results over time. If you plan to use Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma along with other remedies like Sahchar oil for joint pain, ensure that they complement each other and are not contraindicated. Always consult your Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized guidance on dosage and compatibility with other treatments.

Good Morning Churna

2 answers

I’ve been hearing a lot about Good Morning Churna lately, and I wanted to ask some specific questions about it. I have irregular bowel movements most mornings, and it’s been this way for years. My digestion feels sluggish, and I wake up feeling bloated, heavy, and tired instead of fresh and light. A friend recommended Good Morning Churna as an Ayurvedic remedy to help with this. I did some research and found that Good Morning Churna is supposed to improve digestion, regulate bowel movements, and even help with issues related to pitta and vata imbalances in the body. That got me interested because I’ve always been curious about trying Ayurvedic products. Does this actually help with sluggish digestion and bloating? Also, I’ve recently started making changes to my diet, like eating more fiber-rich foods and drinking warm water in the morning. Still, I haven’t seen much improvement. Would Good Morning Churna work better alongside these changes? Or is it okay to take it on an empty stomach, or should it be taken with something else? Another concern is that I’ve read mixed reviews about side effects. Some people say Good Morning Churna can lead to dependence for bowel movements. Is this true? I don’t want to end up relying on it forever. Are there any specific guidelines to follow while using it to avoid such issues? I want to also understand if Good Morning Churna can help balance the vata in my body. I’ve been told I have a vata imbalance because of my dry skin, joint stiffness, and occasional anxiety. Does this product address multiple issues like this? Finally, since I am looking for more holistic health solutions, can Good Morning Churna be combined with other Ayurvedic products for overall well-being? For instance, would it pair well with Ayurvedic health supplements or oils for stress relief? Looking forward to hearing from someone with experience or knowledge about Good Morning Churna. If you’ve tried it, please share how it worked for you.

Good Morning Churna is an Ayurvedic formulation designed to support digestive health, regulate bowel movements, and balance doshas, particularly vata and pitta. Given your symptoms of sluggish digestion, bloating, and feeling heavy in the morning, this churna may be helpful in improving your digestion over time by stimulating the digestive fire (agni) and promoting regularity. It's often used in combination with dietary changes, like increasing fiber and drinking warm water, which are excellent practices for digestive health. The churna can be taken on an empty stomach, typically with warm water, to aid its absorption, but it's important to follow the recommended dosage and not overuse it to avoid dependence on it for bowel movements. To prevent any reliance, it’s crucial to focus on improving your overall digestive health through diet, lifestyle changes, and mindful eating practices. Regarding your vata imbalance, Good Morning Churna may help since it has ingredients that promote digestion and pacify vata, addressing symptoms like dry skin and joint stiffness. It can be combined with other Ayurvedic products like stress-relief oils or supplements, but it’s best to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized guidance. Overall, it’s a good product to support digestion, but it should be part of a broader holistic approach to your health.

How Can Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice Benefit Skin Health and Overall Wellness?

2 answers

Aloe vera has always been praised for its soothing and healing properties, and Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice is no exception. While it’s widely used for improving digestion and boosting immunity, I’m particularly interested in its benefits for skin health and how it can address common skin concerns like acne, dryness, and dullness. One of the key claims about Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice is its ability to improve skin hydration and texture. For someone dealing with dry or flaky skin, how effective is this juice when consumed regularly? Should it be paired with a specific diet or skincare routine to amplify its effects? Another aspect of interest is its role in combating acne and reducing blemishes. Aloe vera is known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, but does drinking Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice consistently help clear breakouts? Is it better used as a topical application for faster results, or can the benefits be enhanced by combining internal and external use? I’ve also read that aloe vera juice can delay signs of aging by improving skin elasticity and reducing wrinkles. How long does it typically take to notice such effects, and are there any other complementary products or foods that work well alongside aloe vera juice to boost collagen production? Additionally, Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice is said to detoxify the body, which in turn promotes healthier skin. Are there visible signs of detoxification, such as reduced puffiness or brighter skin, after incorporating this juice into a routine? Lastly, are there any precautions to consider? For instance, can overconsumption lead to side effects like diarrhea or dehydration due to its laxative properties? Should individuals with certain health conditions, like IBS or kidney issues, avoid using it? If anyone has experience using Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice for skin health, I’d love to know your results. Did it help improve your skin condition, and are there specific methods or recipes that maximize its benefits?

Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice is widely recognized for its benefits in skin health, particularly for improving hydration, combating acne, and reducing the signs of aging. For individuals with dry or flaky skin, regular consumption of this juice can help restore moisture and improve texture by hydrating from the inside out. To enhance its effects, pairing it with a balanced diet rich in healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables can support skin hydration further. When it comes to acne, Aloe Vera’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can help clear breakouts over time. While drinking the juice consistently can provide internal benefits, topical application might accelerate results by directly targeting the skin. The combination of both methods may offer the best outcome. Regarding anti-aging, Aloe Vera’s ability to improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles may take a few weeks to show visible effects. Complementary products that boost collagen production, such as vitamin C-rich foods or supplements, could enhance these benefits. As for detoxification, drinking Aloe Vera Juice may promote clearer, brighter skin by helping flush out toxins, which can result in reduced puffiness and a more radiant complexion. However, moderation is key—overconsumption of Aloe Vera Juice may lead to digestive discomfort or diarrhea due to its natural laxative properties. People with conditions like IBS or kidney issues should exercise caution and consult with a healthcare provider before incorporating it into their routine. If you've used Patanjali Aloe Vera Juice for skin health, it's great to hear your experiences! For some, combining the juice with other detoxifying habits, like drinking plenty of water and maintaining a clean diet, could amplify its skin benefits.

menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda

For the last year, I’ve been dealing with heavy periods, and it’s really starting to take a toll on my health. I used to have a normal flow that lasted 4-5 days, but now my periods are much heavier and sometimes last up to 8 or 9 days. It’s not just uncomfortable; it’s exhausting. I feel completely drained, weak, and dizzy by the third or fourth day, and I’m losing so much energy that I’ve even started missing work. My hemoglobin levels dropped in my last blood test, so I know I’m probably getting anemic because of this. The doctor called it menorrhagia and gave me some hormonal pills, but I’m hesitant to take them long-term because of the side effects I’ve heard about. I’ve been looking for natural ways to manage it, and I found out about menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda. It seems like Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body’s doshas and improving overall health instead of just stopping the bleeding. I want to know more about menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda. Are there any specific herbs or remedies that help reduce excessive bleeding? I’ve heard of herbs like Ashoka, Lodhra, and Shatavari being used for women’s health, but do they actually work for menorrhagia? How long would I need to take them before I see any improvement? Another thing I’m curious about is if there are any Panchakarma treatments that are useful for menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda. I’ve read that detoxifying the body can sometimes help balance the hormones and improve menstrual health, but I don’t know what specific procedures would help with heavy bleeding. Are treatments like Virechana or Basti useful for this? My diet is probably not helping the situation either. I eat a lot of spicy and fried food, and I drink coffee at least twice a day. Could this be making my menorrhagia worse? I’ve seen some advice about following a Pitta-pacifying diet for menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda. What foods should I avoid, and what foods would help strengthen my body and reduce heavy bleeding? If anyone has tried menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda, I’d love to know what worked for you. Did herbal remedies or lifestyle changes help? And did it take months to see any difference, or was the improvement noticeable sooner? I really want to avoid hormonal medicines if I can, so I’m hoping Ayurveda can give me some relief. Any advice or experiences related to menorrhagia treatment in ayurveda would be so helpful. I just want to feel normal again and not dread my periods every month.

In Ayurveda, menorrhagia is often linked to Pitta imbalance, which can cause excessive heat and inflammation in the reproductive system. Herbal remedies like Ashoka (Saraca indica), Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa), and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) are highly beneficial for regulating menstrual flow and strengthening the uterus. These herbs, when taken in prescribed doses, can show improvement within a few menstrual cycles, but consistent use for at least 3-6 months is recommended. Panchakarma therapies like Virechana (therapeutic purgation) can help detoxify the body and balance Pitta dosha, while Basti (medicated enema) using nourishing oils like Dashamoola Taila may support overall hormonal health. Dietary changes are crucial—reduce spicy, fried, and sour foods, and avoid caffeine, as they aggravate Pitta. Instead, focus on a Pitta-pacifying diet with cooling, hydrating, and iron-rich foods like leafy greens, pomegranate, coconut water, and ghee. Practicing a calming routine with yoga and meditation can also help manage stress and balance doshas. Always consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized guidance and dosages.

What is Kashaya Vasti, and how does it benefit health in Ayurvedic treatments?

1 answers

I’ve recently come across the term Kashaya Vasti in Ayurveda and am curious to learn more about this specific Ayurvedic treatment. I understand that Vasti refers to a therapeutic enema used in Ayurveda, but I want to understand how Kashaya Vasti, which involves the use of herbal decoctions or medicated liquids, helps with detoxification and treating various health conditions. What conditions does Kashaya Vasti treat in Ayurveda? I’ve heard it’s particularly effective for Vata imbalances, which can result in digestive issues, joint pain, and muscle stiffness. How does Kashaya Vasti help in balancing the doshas, especially Vata dosha, and promoting the health of the digestive system? How is Kashaya Vasti performed, and what types of herbal formulas are used in this treatment? Does it involve specific herbs like Triphala, Guggulu, or Amla for detoxification and immune boosting, or is it customized based on the patient's condition? I’ve also heard that Kashaya Vasti helps in treating chronic conditions like arthritis, sciatica, and muscle weakness. How does this therapy help in improving blood circulation, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain in these conditions? Lastly, are there any side effects or precautions to consider when undergoing Kashaya Vasti? Can it cause any discomfort, such as cramping or digestive upset, especially for individuals with sensitive stomachs? If anyone has experienced Kashaya Vasti as part of Panchakarma or for pain relief, I’d love to hear about your experience. What conditions did it help treat, and what were the overall benefits you noticed? Looking forward to your insights!

Kashaya Vasti is an important Ayurvedic treatment involving the administration of herbal decoctions through an enema, primarily used for detoxification and balancing the doshas, particularly Vata. It is especially effective for Vata imbalances, which can lead to digestive disturbances, joint pain, and muscle stiffness. Kashaya Vasti helps by nourishing the colon, improving digestion, and removing accumulated toxins from the body, thereby promoting overall health. The herbal formulations used can include ingredients like Triphala, Guggulu, Amla, or customized herbs tailored to the individual's condition. This therapy is beneficial for chronic conditions such as arthritis, sciatica, and muscle weakness by improving blood circulation, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain. However, it is important to perform this treatment under the supervision of an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner, as it can sometimes cause discomfort, such as cramping or digestive upset, especially for those with sensitive stomachs. When done correctly, Kashaya Vasti can provide significant therapeutic benefits and promote long-term health and vitality.

madhumeham means

2 answers

Lately, I’ve been struggling with frequent urination, constant thirst, and feeling unusually tired, even after resting. Initially, I thought it was just work stress or dehydration, but the symptoms kept getting worse. I decided to see a doctor, and after some blood tests, they told me I have high blood sugar levels and might be dealing with diabetes. I started researching to better understand my condition and came across the term madhumeham. I know it’s related to diabetes in Ayurveda, but I’m not exactly sure what madhumeham means and how it’s different from the usual modern explanation of diabetes. Does madhumeham mean only high blood sugar, or is it something more in Ayurveda? From what I read, madhumeham in Ayurveda is not just about sugar levels but also about imbalances in the doshas. I want to know how madhumeham means treating the root cause of diabetes rather than just managing blood sugar. Is it more about balancing the body, detoxifying, or improving digestion? I also saw that Ayurveda connects madhumeham to weak digestion and issues in the urinary system, which I find interesting because I’ve also been dealing with bloating and a sluggish digestive system lately. Another thing I came across is that madhumeham means changes in diet and lifestyle are key to treatment. What kind of diet does Ayurveda recommend for madhumeham? Are there specific foods I should completely avoid, like rice or sweets, and are there any natural herbs or medicines that can help manage my blood sugar levels better? I’ve heard about herbs like Guduchi, Vijaysar, and Neem being effective – can these help someone with my condition? I’m also curious if Ayurveda suggests any exercises or practices like yoga for madhumeham. My doctor told me to stay active, but I don’t know which exercises would be helpful and safe for managing diabetes naturally. If madhumeham means a focus on holistic health, I’d love to hear about routines or yoga asanas that help balance blood sugar and energy levels. Lastly, how effective is Ayurvedic treatment for someone who has just been diagnosed? I don’t want to rely solely on modern medicines if there’s a way to reverse or control it naturally. Has anyone here followed Ayurvedic treatment for madhumeham? How long did it take to notice improvements in energy levels and blood sugar control? Any advice or insights into what madhumeham means in Ayurveda and how it’s treated would be really helpful. I want to make informed choices about my health and understand how Ayurveda approaches this condition.

Madhumeham in Ayurveda refers to diabetes and is considered a metabolic disorder caused by imbalances in the Kapha and Pitta doshas, which affect the body's metabolism, digestion, and blood sugar regulation. Unlike modern medicine, which focuses primarily on blood sugar levels, Ayurveda addresses the root causes, including weak digestion, poor absorption, and imbalances in the urinary system. Treatment for madhumeham includes diet changes, herbs, and lifestyle adjustments. Ayurveda recommends avoiding sugary, processed foods, excess salt, and heavy, oily foods. Foods like bitter gourd, fenugreek, barley, and turmeric are beneficial, as they help regulate blood sugar. Herbs like Guduchi, Vijaysar, and Neem are also commonly used to detoxify the body and improve insulin sensitivity. Yoga and exercise are essential, as they help reduce excess weight and improve circulation. Asanas like Dhanurasana (bow pose), Trikonasana (triangle pose), and Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) are particularly helpful for regulating blood sugar and enhancing energy. For someone recently diagnosed, Ayurvedic treatment can be effective in managing the condition by improving digestion and balancing doshas, but it should be done alongside conventional care. Results vary, but many see improvements in energy and sugar levels within a few weeks to months.

How much time does shilajit take to work?

1 answers

I recently started taking shilajit after hearing about its amazing benefits for energy, stamina, and overall health. But it’s been about a week now, and I’m not sure if I’m noticing any real changes yet. I’m wondering—how much time does shilajit take to work? I’m taking a pea-sized amount of shilajit every morning mixed with warm water, as suggested by the instructions. But I’m curious if the effects are gradual or if it’s supposed to start working immediately. Are the benefits of shilajit cumulative, or should I expect to see results within a certain number of days? One of the reasons I started using shilajit was because I’ve been feeling tired all the time, especially in the afternoons. I’ve also been struggling with poor focus and low stamina during workouts. I’ve read that shilajit is great for all these issues, but I’m not sure if I’m taking it the right way or if it just needs more time to show results. Does the effectiveness of shilajit depend on the brand or quality? I’m using a well-known Ayurvedic brand, but I wonder if there are better options. And does the dosage play a role in how quickly it works? If anyone has experience using shilajit, how long did it take for you to notice a difference? Are there any lifestyle changes I should make to complement its effects, like eating certain foods or exercising more?

Shilajit can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to show noticeable results, as its benefits are typically gradual and cumulative. You may not feel an immediate change, but with consistent use, you should start experiencing improvements in energy, stamina, and focus over time. The quality of shilajit and correct dosage are important for its effectiveness, so it's good that you're using a reputable brand. To boost its effects, consider maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and engaging in regular physical activity. If you’ve been using it for a week and haven’t noticed much yet, continue for a few more weeks and be patient. Results often vary based on individual metabolism and lifestyle factors.

Roshini,
About Dr. Harsha Joy
A massive thank you to Dr. Harsha and this forum, honestly, I still can’t believe I’m finally better. For years I was dealing with this awful pain in my lower back and hips, especially when I sat for more than 10 minutes. It felt like someone stabbing me over and over. I couldn’t work properly, couldn’t enjoy family dinners, even short car rides were unbearable. I tried so many things—physiotherapy, meds, chiropractors, acupuncture, even weird devices that claimed to fix back pain. Nothing worked. I was so frustrated and kind of gave up, thinking maybe this is just my life now. Then, randomly one night, I found this forum. I didn’t expect much but thought I’d give it a try. Dr. Harsha replied to my question, and honestly, her response felt so personal. She explained everything clearly how my problem might be connected to imbalances in my body and not just something physical. She gave me a plan: some yoga stretches, herbal oils for massage, and a few Ayurvedic supplements. She even suggested small lifestyle changes, like how to sit better and take regular breaks during the day. I didn’t think it would work, but after a couple of weeks, I started to notice the pain easing. Sitting didn’t hurt as much, and my back felt looser. Over the next couple of months, the pain kept getting better. Now, I can sit through a whole day at work, go out with friends, and even travel without worrying about pain. Dr. Harsha, you’ve honestly changed my life. Thank you so much for your help and to this forum for connecting me with her!

A huge thank you to Dr. Sujal and this amazing forum! I honestly never thought I’d find relief from the problem I was dealing with for so long. For years, I struggled with terrible digestive issues bloating, stomach cramps, and this constant feeling of heaviness after every meal. It didn’t matter what I ate, even the so-called “healthy” stuff would mess me up. Some days I’d feel fine, and then the next, I’d be in so much discomfort I couldn’t even focus on work or enjoy time with my family. I tried everything antacids, probiotics, different diets, cutting out foods one by one nothing worked for more than a week or two. Doctors just kept saying it was IBS and gave me more meds, but I was tired of taking pills that didn’t actually fix anything. Then I randomly came across this forum, while scrolling late at night looking for help. I posted my story, not really expecting much, but Dr. Sujal replied, and wow, I’m so glad she did. Her advice was so practical and made sense in a way no one else had explained before. She said my issues could be related to weak digestion and recommended a complete Ayurvedic approach to strengthen it. She suggested drinking warm water with a bit of ginger and lemon first thing in the morning, avoiding cold or raw foods, and eating lighter meals in the evening. She also told me to use some herbal powders like Trikatu to boost my digestion and add a few specific spices like cumin and fennel to my cooking. She even taught me some breathing exercises to help calm my gut when I felt stressed. Within a week of following her plan, I started feeling lighter, and my bloating reduced significantly. Over the next month, the cramps completely stopped, and I could eat meals without that horrible heavy feeling afterward. I honestly can’t believe how much better I feel now, and I haven’t touched an antacid in weeks! Dr. Sujal, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You didn’t just help me heal physically but also gave me confidence that I can manage my health naturally. This forum is a blessing, and I’m so glad I found it!
