What Causes Blackheads on the Nose, and How Can They Be Removed Naturally?

1 answers

I’ve been struggling with blackheads on my nose for a while now, and no matter how much I clean my face, they seem to keep coming back. Now I’m wondering—what causes blackheads on the nose, and how can they be removed naturally? From what I understand, blackheads form when pores get clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and dirt. But why do they mostly appear on the nose? Does the skin here produce more oil, or is it due to other factors like diet or makeup use? How can I prevent them from appearing in the first place—do I need to use special face washes or exfoliators regularly? I also read that squeezing or popping blackheads can make them worse, so what are the safest and most effective ways to remove them without damaging the skin? Are pore strips and clay masks good options, or do they irritate the skin? Since I prefer natural skincare solutions, I looked into Ayurveda’s approach to treating blackheads. Are there Ayurvedic face masks, herbal treatments, or oils that can help in naturally removing blackheads on the nose and improving skin texture? I found that turmeric, neem, and Multani mitti are commonly recommended—do these actually work for clearing pores and preventing blackheads? For those who have dealt with blackheads, what methods or products worked best for you? Did you find that natural remedies, skincare routines, or professional facials helped the most? I’d love to hear real insights on managing blackheads effectively.

Blackheads on the nose form when pores become clogged with a mixture of oil, dead skin cells, and dirt. The nose tends to have more sebaceous (oil) glands than other areas of the face, which is why blackheads are more common there. Factors like oily skin, hormonal fluctuations, diet, and makeup use can all contribute to their formation. To prevent blackheads, regular cleansing, exfoliation, and using oil-free or non-comedogenic skincare products are key. Avoid squeezing or popping blackheads, as this can lead to scarring or further irritation. Pore strips and clay masks can be helpful, but they should be used gently to avoid skin damage. From an Ayurvedic perspective, turmeric, neem, and Multani mitti (Fuller's earth) are often recommended for their natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and pore-cleansing properties. These ingredients can help clear pores, reduce oil buildup, and improve skin texture. Many people find that combining natural remedies with a consistent skincare routine, including gentle exfoliation and face masks, helps keep blackheads under control and promotes clearer skin.

Giloy Flower

I’ve been hearing a lot about the health benefits of giloy flower recently, but I’m not sure how to use it or if it’s even the right thing for me. I’ve been struggling with low immunity for years. I catch colds often, and even a small weather change makes me feel sick. Someone recommended using giloy flower to boost my immunity, but I don’t know much about it. From what I understand, giloy flower is part of the giloy plant, which is already known for its medicinal uses. But how is the giloy flower different from the stem or leaves? Are there specific benefits of the giloy flower, or do all parts of the plant work the same way? Also, how do I use giloy flower? Is it better to take it as a tea, powder, or in some other form? I’ve seen a lot of supplements labeled as giloy, but none of them mention the giloy flower specifically. Do I need to find fresh flowers for the best results? And how often should I use it? Can the giloy flower help with chronic fatigue and stress? I also have mild joint pain, and someone told me giloy might help with that too. Does the flower work for these problems, or is it better to use other parts of the plant?

Giloy, including its flower, is known for its health benefits, but the stem is the most commonly used part in Ayurveda due to its potent medicinal properties. The giloy flower is less studied and used, but it may still contribute to the plant's overall benefits, such as boosting immunity and reducing inflammation. Key Points About Giloy Flower and Usage: Immunity: Giloy in general is excellent for improving immunity and reducing susceptibility to colds and infections. The flower might offer mild support but is less potent than the stem. Usage Forms: The stem is typically used as powders, teas, or decoctions. If you want to use the flower, it can be brewed into a tea or consumed fresh if available. Chronic Fatigue and Stress: The plant's adaptogenic properties help combat fatigue and stress, though the stem is more effective. Joint Pain: Giloy is anti-inflammatory and can aid in reducing joint pain, but again, the stem or prepared formulations are recommended for better results. Recommendations: Best Part to Use: Stick with giloy stem-based products for maximum benefits. If you want to try the flower, ensure it's sourced fresh and organic. Frequency: Take giloy (stem or flower) once or twice daily, preferably as a tea or in powdered form. For Your Issues: Use giloy stem supplements or decoctions for immunity, fatigue, and joint pain, as they are more researched and effective. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner if you have specific health conditions or are on medication.

Nimesha

While studying Ayurvedic concepts related to time and awareness, I came across the term Nimesha, which seems to have both practical and philosophical significance in Ayurveda. I’d like to learn more about the meaning of Nimesha, its applications in daily life, and its relevance in Ayurvedic practices. From what I understand, Nimesha is often translated as the "blinking of an eye" and is considered a unit of time in Vedic and Ayurvedic traditions. Does it also symbolize a moment of pause or transition, representing mindfulness and awareness in one’s actions? How is this concept used in Ayurveda to emphasize the importance of timing in treatments, dietary practices, and lifestyle routines? I’m curious about how Nimesha is applied in both practical and spiritual contexts. For instance, does it influence the timing of Panchakarma therapies, meal schedules, or yoga practices? How does Ayurveda relate this fleeting unit of time to the larger rhythms of life, such as the dinacharya (daily routine) or ritucharya (seasonal routine)? Additionally, does the concept of Nimesha hold significance in meditation or breathwork practices for achieving mental clarity? Another important aspect is its connection to modern time management. Can the philosophical idea of Nimesha—focusing on the present moment—help individuals reduce stress and enhance productivity? How does Ayurveda integrate this timeless principle into the fast-paced demands of contemporary living? Lastly, if anyone has explored or applied the concept of Nimesha in their Ayurvedic or spiritual practices, I’d love to hear about your experience. Did it help improve your awareness, mental clarity, or daily rhythm? Were there any challenges in understanding or incorporating this concept into your routine? Any detailed insights on the practical and philosophical significance of Nimesha would be greatly appreciated.

In Ayurveda, Nimesha refers to the brief moment of a blink or the "unit of time" associated with the blink of an eye. It carries both practical and philosophical significance, representing not only a fleeting moment but also an opportunity for pause, transition, and awareness. This concept emphasizes the importance of mindfulness and being present in one’s actions. In Ayurvedic practices, Nimesha is linked to the timing of various rituals and routines, such as Panchakarma therapies, meal schedules, and yoga practices. Timing plays a crucial role in Ayurveda, and Nimesha encourages awareness of the right moments for specific treatments or activities, ensuring they align with natural rhythms like the dinacharya (daily routine) and ritucharya (seasonal routine). Additionally, in meditation and breathwork, Nimesha can serve as a reminder to be present in the current moment, facilitating mental clarity and focus. Philosophically, Nimesha teaches that time is fluid and that each fleeting moment holds potential for deep awareness, helping individuals manage stress and improve productivity in modern life by focusing on the present instead of becoming overwhelmed by the past or future. Incorporating Nimesha into daily life can enhance one’s ability to stay grounded, reduce distractions, and maintain mental and physical harmony. Many practitioners have found that integrating this concept helps them better attune to the natural rhythms of their body and mind, improving clarity, energy, and overall well-being. However, the challenge often lies in maintaining this awareness consistently amidst the fast pace of modern life.

What Is Parathyroid Hormone and How Can Ayurveda Help in Balancing It?

During my recent check-up, my doctor found that my parathyroid hormone levels were higher than normal. They explained that the parathyroid glands control calcium levels in the body, and if the hormone levels are off, it could lead to issues like bone pain, kidney stones, or muscle weakness. I’ve been experiencing some of these symptoms, such as muscle cramps and occasional joint pain, so I’m worried this imbalance might be affecting my overall health. The doctor didn’t explain much about what causes an imbalance in parathyroid hormone or how it can be corrected, except that I may need some medications to manage it. However, I prefer exploring natural remedies first, and I’m wondering if Ayurveda can offer any insights. Can Ayurveda help in regulating parathyroid hormone levels naturally? Are there specific herbs or practices that can support the balance of calcium in the body and prevent complications associated with the imbalance of parathyroid hormone? I’ve heard that Ashwagandha and Guggulu can help with hormonal balance—could these be helpful in my case? Has anyone here dealt with parathyroid hormone imbalances and found success with Ayurvedic treatments? What worked for you in restoring balance and relieving symptoms?

Ayurveda offers several holistic approaches that may help manage symptoms of parathyroid hormone imbalance, including supporting calcium balance and relieving muscle or joint pain. While Ayurvedic remedies should be used alongside your doctor’s advice, here are some natural options that may help: 1. Herbs for Hormonal Balance Ashwagandha: Known for balancing hormones and reducing muscle weakness, it may help support overall endocrine health. Guggulu: Traditionally used for bone and joint health, Guggulu can help reduce inflammation and support calcium balance. Shatavari: Often used for hormonal regulation, this herb may help maintain mineral balance in the body. 2. Calcium-Boosting & Bone-Supporting Herbs Hadjod (Cissus quadrangularis): Promotes bone health and helps prevent bone loss related to hormonal imbalances. Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia): Known for its anti-inflammatory and rejuvenative properties, it can support joint health and muscle recovery. Sesame Seeds: Rich in calcium and essential minerals that promote bone strength. 3. Dietary Changes Increase calcium-rich foods like leafy greens, almonds, figs, sesame seeds, and fortified plant-based milks. Reduce intake of high-phosphorus foods, which may worsen calcium imbalances. 4. Lifestyle Practices Abhyanga (Oil Massage): Using warm sesame or Mahanarayan oil may help reduce muscle cramps and joint pain. Yoga: Gentle poses that strengthen muscles and improve circulation, such as Warrior Pose or Tree Pose, can help with bone health. Pranayama: Breathing exercises can help reduce stress, which may improve hormonal balance. Success Stories & Considerations Some have found relief from symptoms using Ayurvedic approaches combined with modern treatments. Consistency is key, and improvements may take weeks to months. Regular monitoring of parathyroid hormone and calcium levels is essential.

What Is Laparoscopic Surgery, and How Does It Benefit Patients?

1 answers

I’ve heard a lot about laparoscopic surgery being less invasive than traditional surgery, but I don’t fully understand how it works. Now I’m wondering—what exactly is laparoscopic surgery, and how does it benefit patients compared to regular surgery? From what I understand, laparoscopic surgery uses small incisions and a camera to guide the surgeon while performing procedures inside the body. But how does it work—does it cause less trauma to the body, and how does it speed up recovery time? Is it suitable for all types of surgery, or are there specific conditions that require this minimally invasive approach? I also read that laparoscopic surgery has several benefits, like smaller scars, less pain, and a quicker return to daily activities. How long does it take to recover from this surgery, and are there any risks involved, such as infection or injury to surrounding organs? Since I prefer natural treatments, I looked into Ayurveda’s approach to healing after surgery. Are there Ayurvedic herbs, diets, or therapies that can support recovery from laparoscopic surgery and reduce healing time? I found that turmeric, aloe vera, and Ashwagandha are often recommended—do these actually help in improving recovery and reducing inflammation post-surgery? For those who have had laparoscopic surgery, what was your experience like? Did it result in a quicker recovery compared to traditional surgery, and did you experience any complications? I’d love to hear real insights on laparoscopic surgery and its benefits.

Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery, involves using small incisions, a camera (laparoscope), and specialized instruments to perform procedures inside the body. The main benefit compared to traditional surgery is that it causes less trauma to the body because of the smaller incisions. This leads to less pain, a lower risk of infection, smaller scars, and a quicker recovery time. Laparoscopy is often suitable for procedures involving the abdomen or pelvis, such as gallbladder removal, hernia repairs, or certain gynecological surgeries, though not all surgeries can be done laparoscopically. Recovery time is typically faster, with many patients returning to daily activities within a few weeks, as opposed to several months with traditional surgery. However, risks do include infection, bleeding, or injury to surrounding organs, although these complications are less common. As for natural healing, Ayurveda suggests herbs like turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera for skin healing, and Ashwagandha to support overall recovery and reduce stress on the body. These remedies can help complement conventional care by promoting faster healing and reducing inflammation post-surgery. From personal experience, many patients report less discomfort and quicker healing times with laparoscopic surgery compared to traditional methods.

Shatavari And Fertility

1 answers

I’ve been trying to conceive for over a year now, and someone recommended looking into Shatavari and fertility benefits. I had never heard of it before, but after reading a bit online, it seems like it’s a popular herb in Ayurveda for women’s health. I’m curious if Shatavari and fertility support are really as effective as people claim. I have irregular periods, which I think might be affecting my ability to get pregnant. Would taking Shatavari help regulate my cycles and improve ovulation? I’ve also seen claims that it boosts reproductive health overall, but I don’t want to take something blindly without knowing if it’s safe for me. Is Shatavari and fertility improvement mostly for women with hormonal imbalances, or can it help even if my tests so far have been normal? Another thing I’m unsure about is how to take it. Some say to use Shatavari powder, while others recommend capsules. Are both equally effective for fertility? And is there a specific time in the cycle to take it for the best results? I’ve also read about it supporting stress management, which could be a big help because the stress of trying to conceive is definitely not helping me. If anyone here has tried Shatavari and fertility treatments together, I’d love to hear your experience. How long did it take for you to notice any changes? Did you take it alongside other medications or treatments? Any side effects I should know about?

Shatavari is a widely used Ayurvedic herb known for supporting women’s reproductive health and fertility. Here’s how it might help with your concerns: Fertility Benefits: Regulating Cycles: Shatavari is believed to help balance hormones, potentially regulating menstrual cycles and improving ovulation. Boosting Reproductive Health: It nourishes and strengthens the reproductive system, making it beneficial even if your tests are normal. Stress Management: It helps reduce stress and anxiety, which can indirectly support fertility by promoting hormonal balance. Forms and Dosage: Powder: Often mixed with warm milk or water; typically taken 1-2 teaspoons daily. Capsules: Convenient and equally effective; follow the recommended dosage on the label. Timing: It can be taken daily, regardless of your cycle, but consult a practitioner for personalized advice. Safety: Shatavari is generally safe, but mild side effects like digestive discomfort can occur in rare cases. If you’re taking other medications or undergoing fertility treatments, consult a doctor to ensure there are no interactions. Timeline: Effects can take 2-3 months to become noticeable, as Ayurvedic treatments often work gradually. If irregular periods are a significant concern, combining Shatavari with a balanced diet and stress-reducing practices like yoga can enhance its benefits. Consulting a specialist for tailored advice is highly recommended.

What are the uses of Siddha medicine for skin diseases, and how does it treat conditions like eczema or acne?

I’ve been reading about Siddha medicine as an ancient healing system, and I’m curious to know how Siddha remedies can be used for skin diseases like eczema, acne, and psoriasis. I understand that Siddha medicine has a long history of treating various ailments, but I want to dive deeper into its approach to skin health and how it differs from other systems like Ayurveda. How does Siddha medicine approach the treatment of skin diseases? I’ve read that Siddha focuses on balancing the five elements and the body’s internal energy, but how does this relate to healing the skin? Are there specific herbs or formulas used in Siddha medicine for conditions like eczema, acne, or skin rashes? I also came across the use of herbal pastes and oils in Siddha treatments. How effective are herbal oils like neem oil, turmeric oil, or sandalwood oil in treating skin conditions? Can they be used topically for conditions like acne, or are they more effective when taken internally? Additionally, I’d like to know if there are any dietary guidelines or lifestyle recommendations in Siddha medicine for skin health. For example, should people with skin conditions avoid certain foods, such as fried foods, spicy meals, or dairy products? Lastly, are there any side effects or precautions to consider when using Siddha remedies for skin diseases? Are there contraindications with other forms of treatment, such as modern dermatology? If anyone has used Siddha medicine for skin conditions, I’d love to hear your experience. How effective were the remedies, and what specific treatments helped you the most? Looking forward to your insights!

Siddha medicine, much like Ayurveda, focuses on balancing the body's internal energies and the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether) to restore harmony and health. In the context of skin diseases like eczema, acne, and psoriasis, Siddha practitioners view these conditions as imbalances in the body's internal systems, often linked to excess heat (Pitta), toxins (Ama), or compromised immunity. To address this, Siddha remedies typically include herbal pastes, oils, and internal formulations designed to cleanse the body, reduce inflammation, and restore balance. Herbs like neem, turmeric, and sandalwood are frequently used in Siddha treatments. Neem oil and turmeric oil, known for their anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and soothing properties, can be applied topically for acne, eczema, and other skin conditions. While these oils can be effective externally, some formulations may also be taken internally in a controlled manner, depending on the condition. Dietary guidelines in Siddha medicine emphasize avoiding foods that aggravate heat or toxins, such as spicy, fried, or heavy foods, and dairy products, which may contribute to skin flare-ups. A clean, balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and cooling foods is often recommended. As with any traditional medicine, it's important to be cautious and consult with a trained practitioner, especially if you are combining Siddha remedies with conventional treatments. Overuse of certain herbs can cause side effects, and it's important to ensure they don't interact negatively with modern medications or therapies.

Ayurvedic Medicine To Quit Smoking

2 answers

I’ve been smoking for over 10 years, and I’m finally trying to quit. It’s been challenging because I’ve grown so dependent on it, both mentally and physically. I’ve heard that there’s Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking, which can help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings naturally. I want to understand more about how Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking works and whether it’s effective for long-term cessation. Does Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking target the nicotine addiction itself, or does it mainly help with reducing anxiety and calming the mind? I’ve read that certain herbs, like ashwagandha and tulsi, are included in Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking, but I’m unsure how they contribute to the process. Is there a specific regimen to follow, like taking the medicine at certain times or combining it with other practices like meditation? Another thing I’m curious about is whether Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking addresses the physical damage caused by smoking, such as lung health and detoxification. Does it help repair tissues or improve respiratory function? If anyone has successfully quit smoking using Ayurvedic medicine, how long did it take to notice changes, and did it completely eliminate cravings? I’d also like to know if there are any precautions or side effects to be aware of while using Ayurvedic medicine to quit smoking. Should I make dietary changes, like avoiding caffeine or spicy foods, to make the transition easier? Any tips or personal experiences would be really helpful.

Ayurvedic medicine for quitting smoking primarily focuses on balancing the body and mind to ease withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and address the psychological dependency associated with smoking. It does not directly target nicotine addiction but helps manage stress, anxiety, and the emotional triggers that lead to smoking. Herbs like ashwagandha and tulsi are commonly used as they support the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. Ashwagandha, in particular, helps with anxiety and energy levels, while tulsi supports detoxification and improves lung health. Ayurvedic treatment also emphasizes detoxifying the body, which can help repair the physical damage caused by smoking and improve respiratory function. A typical regimen involves taking herbal formulations, combined with lifestyle practices like meditation, pranayama, and yoga, to reduce stress and maintain mental clarity. Dietary adjustments, such as avoiding caffeine and spicy foods, can help manage cravings and ease the transition. Though Ayurvedic remedies can significantly aid the quitting process, complete cessation requires commitment, and results may take weeks to months to become noticeable. Side effects are rare but may include mild digestive discomfort, so it's important to follow dosage instructions carefully.

nichay

1 answers

I’ve heard about the Ayurvedic concept of nichay, but I don’t fully understand its meaning or significance in treatments. From what little I’ve read, it seems to involve the determination of how a disease progresses or resolves. How is nichay used by Ayurvedic practitioners during diagnosis? For example, I’ve been dealing with recurring throat infections and want to know if nichay can help determine whether my condition is chronic or temporary. Is it connected to understanding the deeper causes of dosha imbalances, or is it more about observing symptoms? I’d love a clearer explanation of nichay and how it’s applied in real-life Ayurvedic treatments. If anyone can share examples, it would really help.

In Ayurveda, Nichay refers to the process of making a definitive diagnosis or conclusion about a disease, its root cause, and prognosis. It’s a critical step in treatment planning. Here's how it applies: Significance of Nichay: It involves understanding the stage, nature, and cause of the disease by analyzing dosha imbalances and symptoms. Focuses on determining whether a condition is acute, chronic, or reversible. How Practitioners Use Nichay: Observation of Symptoms: Analyze signs like inflammation, pain, or frequency of recurrence (e.g., in your throat infections). Assessment of Doshas: Identify imbalances in Kapha (mucus) or Pitta (inflammation) contributing to recurring infections. Determination of Chronicity: Evaluate if your throat infections are due to deep-seated causes (e.g., low immunity or poor digestion) or temporary triggers (e.g., seasonal changes). Application in Your Case: Nichay can help identify whether your recurring throat infections stem from weakened agni (digestive fire), ama (toxins), or external factors like diet and environment. Based on this, personalized remedies and lifestyle changes would be recommended to address the root cause, not just symptoms. Nichay is about looking beyond surface symptoms to offer tailored and sustainable treatment. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a detailed evaluation.

what is scurvy disease

2 answers

Doctor, I was reading about different vitamin deficiencies, and I came across the term scurvy disease. I had heard about it before, but I didn’t really know what it was. When I looked up what is scurvy disease, I found that it is caused by a severe deficiency of vitamin C and leads to symptoms like bleeding gums, weakness, and skin issues. I was surprised to learn that scurvy is still a problem in some cases today, even though vitamin C is present in many foods. Does Ayurveda recognize scurvy disease, and how does it explain the symptoms? Is this seen as a disorder of Rakta dhatu (blood tissue) or a Pitta imbalance? Also, are there Ayurvedic foods or herbs that naturally prevent scurvy? I read that Amla (Indian gooseberry) is one of the best sources of vitamin C in Ayurveda—does that help in treating scurvy? Are there other foods or formulations that can help with vitamin deficiencies? I also wonder if digestion plays a role in vitamin absorption. If someone has weak digestion, does that make them more prone to vitamin deficiencies like scurvy disease? What Ayurvedic remedies help improve nutrient absorption and prevent deficiencies? I would love to know more about what is scurvy disease from an Ayurvedic perspective and how to prevent or treat it naturally.

Scurvy is indeed a condition resulting from a severe deficiency of vitamin C, which can lead to symptoms like bleeding gums, weakness, joint pain, and skin issues. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition can be related to an imbalance in Rakta dhatu (the blood tissue) and could manifest from a Pitta imbalance, particularly if digestion (Agni) is compromised. Understanding Scurvy in Ayurveda: The bleeding gums and skin issues associated with scurvy resonate with the qualities of Pitta, as it governs blood and tissues. An efficient Agni is crucial for the proper assimilation of nutrients, including vitamin C. Weak digestion can lead to poor absorption, making one more susceptible to deficiencies. Ayurvedic Recommendations to Prevent and Treat Scurvy: 1. Key Foods: - Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Rich in vitamin C, it helps strengthen the immune system and improve blood health. You can consume fresh Amla, powdered form, or as Amla juice—ideally 1-2 teaspoons daily. - Citrus Fruits: Oranges, lemons, and limes can be incorporated into your diet, providing necessary vitamin C. - Other Sources: Bell peppers, green leafy vegetables (like spinach), and strawberries can also be beneficial. 2. Herbs for Digestion and Absorption: - Ginger: Consuming ginger tea before meals can stimulate digestion. Grate about a teaspoon of fresh ginger, steep in hot water, and drink before meals. - Triphala: This formulation improves digestion and absorption; take ½ teaspoon before bedtime with warm water. 3. Lifestyle Enhancements: - Ensure you eat a variety of fresh, whole foods. - Maintain hydration to support digestion. - Minimize stress through practices like yoga or meditation to support Agni. 4. Digestive Support: - Cumin and Fennel Seeds: Incorporate these spices in cooking to help enhance digestion. After meals, chewing on fennel seeds can also aid digestion. By focusing on nutrient-dense foods, supporting your digestion, and using specific remedies, you can manage and prevent vitamin deficiencies such as scurvy both effectively and holistically. If symptoms persist or you have concerns, please consult your healthcare provider for more personalized guidance.

Thank u so much doctor. The information is very useful. I'll follow that.
Roshini,
About Dr. Harsha Joy
A massive thank you to Dr. Harsha and this forum, honestly, I still can’t believe I’m finally better. For years I was dealing with this awful pain in my lower back and hips, especially when I sat for more than 10 minutes. It felt like someone stabbing me over and over. I couldn’t work properly, couldn’t enjoy family dinners, even short car rides were unbearable. I tried so many things—physiotherapy, meds, chiropractors, acupuncture, even weird devices that claimed to fix back pain. Nothing worked. I was so frustrated and kind of gave up, thinking maybe this is just my life now. Then, randomly one night, I found this forum. I didn’t expect much but thought I’d give it a try. Dr. Harsha replied to my question, and honestly, her response felt so personal. She explained everything clearly how my problem might be connected to imbalances in my body and not just something physical. She gave me a plan: some yoga stretches, herbal oils for massage, and a few Ayurvedic supplements. She even suggested small lifestyle changes, like how to sit better and take regular breaks during the day. I didn’t think it would work, but after a couple of weeks, I started to notice the pain easing. Sitting didn’t hurt as much, and my back felt looser. Over the next couple of months, the pain kept getting better. Now, I can sit through a whole day at work, go out with friends, and even travel without worrying about pain. Dr. Harsha, you’ve honestly changed my life. Thank you so much for your help and to this forum for connecting me with her!
Jake London,
About Dr Sujal Patil
A huge thank you to Dr. Sujal and this amazing forum! I honestly never thought I’d find relief from the problem I was dealing with for so long. For years, I struggled with terrible digestive issues bloating, stomach cramps, and this constant feeling of heaviness after every meal. It didn’t matter what I ate, even the so-called “healthy” stuff would mess me up. Some days I’d feel fine, and then the next, I’d be in so much discomfort I couldn’t even focus on work or enjoy time with my family. I tried everything antacids, probiotics, different diets, cutting out foods one by one nothing worked for more than a week or two. Doctors just kept saying it was IBS and gave me more meds, but I was tired of taking pills that didn’t actually fix anything. Then I randomly came across this forum, while scrolling late at night looking for help. I posted my story, not really expecting much, but Dr. Sujal replied, and wow, I’m so glad she did. Her advice was so practical and made sense in a way no one else had explained before. She said my issues could be related to weak digestion and recommended a complete Ayurvedic approach to strengthen it. She suggested drinking warm water with a bit of ginger and lemon first thing in the morning, avoiding cold or raw foods, and eating lighter meals in the evening. She also told me to use some herbal powders like Trikatu to boost my digestion and add a few specific spices like cumin and fennel to my cooking. She even taught me some breathing exercises to help calm my gut when I felt stressed. Within a week of following her plan, I started feeling lighter, and my bloating reduced significantly. Over the next month, the cramps completely stopped, and I could eat meals without that horrible heavy feeling afterward. I honestly can’t believe how much better I feel now, and I haven’t touched an antacid in weeks! Dr. Sujal, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You didn’t just help me heal physically but also gave me confidence that I can manage my health naturally. This forum is a blessing, and I’m so glad I found it!
